About Me

Art has always been the language of my heart. My journey began in El Paso, where I trained with Ballet El Paso under the guidance of Ms. Ingeborg Heuser. Those early years built the foundation for a life devoted to both discipline and expression.

I went on to dance professionally with The Oakland Ballet Company and received scholarships and training from Dance Theatre of Harlem, Cleveland Ballet, and Houston Ballet, each experience shaping the artist I am today.

As a former ballerina now entering a new chapter, I’ve returned to my first love, creating beauty that moves both the eye and the soul.

Through JOHVIELLE, I merge two worlds that defined me: the precision of dance and the poetry of paint. Each design begins with a story, woven from my original artwork and the pointe shoes I once wore, now transformed into symbols of passion, grace, and resilience.

These are not mass-produced pieces; they are extensions of lived experience, every brushstroke a memory, every image a reflection of movement and meaning.

Among my most personal works is a reimagining of Vincent van Gogh’s Starry Night, a tribute to the way art, like dance, can stir emotion, illuminate darkness, and remind us that beauty often rises from perseverance.

This is my niche. My legacy.
